Lauren Daniels

Lauren Daniels’ poetry, travel writing and essays have appeared in Brisbane’s Courier-Mail, The Newport Review, New York City’s Ducts Magazine, The US National Writers Union (Boston Chapter) Roughdraft, Toronto’s Global Paradigm, Fairfield University’s The Sound and Emerson College’s Brick. The manuscript for her novel, The Serpent’s Wake: A Fairy Tale for the Bitten was shortlisted with the 2016 Half the World Literati Award.

The senior consulting editor for Interactive Publications, she has served as a literary judge for over a decade, was a Youth Arts Queensland mentor, and taught writing at The University of Queensland and TAFE College. She sits on the Board for the Erica Bell Foundation in Tasmania and is the founder of the Brisbane Writers Workshop.
